Ronard K. Sykes age 69 of Gahanna, Ohio passed away suddenly Thursday April 28, 2005 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife Rachel Eileen Sykes; Son Ronnie Paul Sykes; Daughter Veronica; Brothers Elbert (Thea) Sykes; Sisters Betty (Cecil) Martin, Brenda (Stan) Stanley, Mary Ellen (Lee) Richardson and LaDonna Sykes as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews step-children and friends. He labored faithfully for many years for the Don Martin Company. He was a Korean War Veteran as well as a Life Time member of V.F. W. Post 9857. The family will receive friends Tuesday May 3, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at The Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road Columbus, Ohio 43231; The Funeral Service will be Wednesday May 4, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home; Pastor Robert Owens officiating.
