Roosevelt Scales, 76 of Plain City, Ohio passed away March 31, 2006 at Riverside Hospital. He was born on February 25, 1930 to the late Ambrose and Barbara Spruiel. Roosevelt faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Postal Service. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Two Brothers, and One Sister. Roosevelt leaves behind his Loving and Devoted Wife of 31 years, Donella Scales; Son, Terrance Scales; Step-Daughter, Teal Harris; Grandson, Shaun Harris; Father-in-law, Clarence Harris; along with several Nieces and Nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2006 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
