Rosalie Mayes, age 64, of Columbus, Ohio passed away November 11, 2022. She was born on October 8, 1958 in Marin County, Kentucky to the late Elwood Cook and Mae (Litton) Frye.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Harkins Junior Frye of Plain City, Ohio.
Rosalie loved to cook and was employed by various restaurants, rehabilitation centers and They Buckeye Ranch over her working years. She enjoyed cooking a variety of dishes for her family and friends. She liked trying new recipes, especially desserts. We, Jerry and I, will deeply miss her biscuits and sausage gravy, Kentucky style, and her version of chocolate gravy.
Rosalie will be deeply missed by Rocky, her pet and constant companion.
She is survived by her son, Jesse (Kayla) Stevens and 1 granddaughter, Haley of Inez, Kentucky.
Rosalie is also survived by her sisters, Patricia (Bernard) Kielar of Buffalo, New York, Geraldine of Texas, Judy (Donald) Perry of Columbus and brother, Jerry (Carol) Frye of Worthington.
Additionally, she is survived by her step-sisters and brothers, Charlie Frye, JAnne Frye, both of Gainsville, Florida, Arnold (Amie) Frye of Cleveland, Ohio, Rosemary (Freddie) Adams and Dr, Howard Frye, both of Hunnington, West Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
