Rosalie H. Routt
January 5, 1931 — July 11, 2022
Rosalie H. Routt, 91, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2022.
She was born in Owensboro, KY on January 5, 1931 to the late Harry A. and Emma Rose Hamilton.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, S.C. "Buddy" Routt, Jr.
Surviving family includes, daughters; Kathryn Meyers, Leslie (Mike) Turner, Suzenne Routt; six grandchildren, Brandon Turner, Kara Turner, Ryan (Sarah) Turner, Paige (Michell) Zumaita, Drew Meyers; great granddaughter, Cassidy Zumaita.
Rosalie grew up in Louisville, KY and attended the University of Louisville before she traveled north to study music in New York City.
Up until 2016, she sang in the choir at Worthington United Methodist Church.
Rosalie was an excellent seamstress and during her lifetime she baked thousands of dozens of delicious cookies.
In addition she knitted a variety of hats and mittens that were donated to homeless shelters, as well as prayer shawls and christening blankets that were donated to the church.
Rosalie was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be truly missed by those who loved her.
At this time the family has selected to not have services.
