Rose Y. Whaley, 30, of Columbus passed away November 10, 2010 at Regency Hospital. She was born May 30, 1980 in Columbus, OH to her parents Jeff and Lorrie Whaley. She is preceded in death by grandmother Carol Sheaf. In addition to her parents Rose is survived by her children, Shelby, Desmond and Bryanna Whaley; fiancé Gregg McComis; siblings, Christina (Josh) Hammond and Richard (Danielle) Whaley; grandparents, Marie Whaley, Dick (Sharon) Whaley and Jerry (Roberta) Temple; special aunt Amanda Rumich; also her nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose was a very kind hearted and gentle person. She cherished spending time with her kids and family. She also loved looking after her day care kids. Rose will truly be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held 2 to 5 PM Sunday November 14, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service 10:00 AM Monday November 15, 2010 at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Bathini and the nursing staff at Regency Hospital for their care and support. Donational may be made to The American Lung Association, 1950 Arlington Lane, Columbus, OH 43228.
