Rosemary Ann Kimmet, age 93, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on December 14, 2024. She was born on July 31, 1931 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Carl and Alice Gobert.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kimmet, and her daughter, Paula Kimmet.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Gary (Jann) Kimmet, Dave Kimmet, Mark (Cheryl) Kimmet, Dan (Cathy) Kimmet, and Amy (Wadi) Yaich, her grandchildren, Lauri Batdorf, Jeff Kimmet, Allison Kimmet, Brett Kimmet, Joe Miller, Angie Woods, Danielle Montgomery, Kaylee Poole, Leann Poole, Tej Yaich, and Zak Yaich, her great-grandchildren, Alex Batdorf, Luke Batdorf, Mya Kimmet, Nolan Kimmet, Jaxon Woods, and Adalie Woods.
She loved pizza and beer on a Friday night. She played volleyball up until her 50's. She was a great cook, and a specialized food critic. Her famous phrase was "Whatcha cooking?" She was famous on the West Side and at her nursing home. Her famous last words were "I want a Sprite!"
She will be deeply missed by everybody that knew her.
