Roy Brock, age 74, passed away March 27, 2013. He was born July 22, 1938 in Hyden, KY.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Bertha Brock.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy of 52 years; children, Vanessa (Cliff) Ferrell, Melvin "Ted" (Kelly) Brock, Melissa "Missy" (William) Lloyd and Roy Brian (Kristina) Brock; siblings, Melvin Brock, Vina Brock and Elva (Henry) Anderson; grandchildren, Crystal, Ryan, Taryn, Emily, Rachel, Hannah, Mathew, Ash and BJ; great-grandchildren, Krystiana, Kadence, Alexis, Brayden, Cali and Madysen.
Roy served his country bravely in the U.S. Army and was a 32nd degree Mason. Roy was a member of Day Spring Baptist Church Alton, OH. He enjoyed camping and going to Canada on fishing trips with his family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Entombment at Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 6500 Busch Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229.
