Roy F. Fox Jr., 63, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2011. He was born in Galion, OH. Roy was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Josephine Fox and brother, Joe Fox. He is survived by his loving wife Elvera Fox; children, David (Aimee) Fox and Denise (Jack) Collins; step-daughters, Karen (Chris) Clifford and Sharon (Joe) Myers; siblings, Jackie (Bob) Bryne and Randy (Nelva) Fox; grandchildren, Tracie, Victoria, Jessica and Cheyenne Fox, and Jesse Lemaster; step-grandchildren, Sean ( Andrea) Clifford, Kevin (Amy) Clifford, Christopher Clifford and Damion (Richelle) Clifford and Reanna (Jaime) Parham and many friends. Roy served his country bravely in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is a life time member of the American Legion and Teamsters Union #284. He was a concrete truck driver for Anderson Concrete and a former tour driver for Lakefront Lines and also former Police Chief of Cardington, OH. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
