Roy Guiles, 81, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013. Roy was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 29, 1931, to Benjamin F. and Bertha (Kunzi) Guiles and is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Katherine Aderhold and Bertha Ochal; brothers, William, Robert, John, Benjamin and Harold Guiles.
Roy is survived by his sister, Shirley (Edward) Miller; brother, Earl (Betty Lou) Guiles; close friends, Ronald and Diana Ducker; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Roy was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict and retired from Yenkin-Majestic Paint Corporation.
Roy was an avid golfer since his high school days and has played courses around the world.
Friends and family will gather for a "Celebration of Life" on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH.
