Roy Jenkins, 85, of Columbus, OH, a local model railroad enthusiast, has taken a final ride with Jesus on the train "Bound for Glory!"
He passed away on July 6, 2015. He was born in Montmorenci, IN on December 7, 1929 and was preceded in death by his parents, Roy H. Sr. and Alberta Jenkins.
"Old Blue Eyes" as he was known to his loving wife Geraldine (Gerry) for more than 64 years, leaves also his devoted children, Robin (Greg) McCarty, Steven (Suzanne) Jenkins, Melody Conaway, Gerald "Dean" (Susan) Jenkins, grandchildren, Shannon (Marcus) Stewart, Collin McCarty, David (Stephanie) Jenkins, Daniel (Madelyn) Jenkins, Douglas Jenkins, Deborah Jenkins, Danae Jenkins, Kristan Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, great-grandchildren, Addisyn & Olivia Stewart, Bryce, Faith (deceased), Drew Jenkins and Cooper Jenkins.
Special thanks to Mount Carmel Hospice for their kindness and tender loving care.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-7pm, Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Life in Christ Fellowship, 500 State Route 142 NE, West Jefferson, OH 43162, where a funeral service will begin at 7pm. Private burial will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, OH.
