Roy W. Arrick Jr.

Roy W. Arrick Jr., 84, Columbus, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Roy was born in Glen Dale, WV on November 16, 1927, to Roy W. and Ameila (Zesiger) Arrick Sr., and is preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Caylie.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Hallie "Ann" Arrick; daughter, Tina Arrick; son, Stephen (Kathy) Arrick; sister, Millicent Gordon; grandchildren, Sarah (Dave), James (Alberta), Elisabeth (Orrin), Robert (Lauren), Deborah, Rachel (Derek); great-grandchildren, Mary, Arthur, Charlie, Hannah, Noah, Isaiah, Lilly, Samantha, Natalee, Addie, Audrey; sister-in-law, Audrey White; brother-in-law, Tom (Sharon) Hoover; feline family, Abbey and Lilly and many friends.
Roy worked for Chemical Abstract, as a chemist, for 24 years. He was Past Master of University Lodge #631 and was a member of the Scottish Rite York Temple. Roy was a proud member of the United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, 10:00 – 11-00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Stephen Arrick will officiate. Private interment will follow.
