WHIPPLE
Roy E. Whipple, 77, passed away peacefully at his home on January 23, 2012 to join his wife, Fran. In addition to his wife, Roy was preceded in death by parents, Margaret (Whipple) Whitten, Lester D. Whipple and William C. Whitten ; son, Greg Wallace; grandson, Brad; and brothers, William B. Whipple, Albert "Sock" (Marge) Whipple, Tommy (Nancy) Whipple and Billy (Vicky) Whitten. Roy is survived by his sons, Roy Jr. (Lori) and Scott Whipple; daughter-in-law, Peggy Wallace; grandchildren, David, Katie, Clay, Carly and Caylee; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Trestan and Allyson; sister, Jean (Dick) Tague; and brothers, Joe "Teep" Whipple, Ricky Whitten and Jimmy Whitten. Roy served in the United States Marine Corps. and was a member of the VFW. Visitation Friday, January 27, 2012 from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm with Funeral Service at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roy's memory to The Mount Carmel Hospice, C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
