Royston H Ellis

Royston H. Ellis, 83, of Grove City, passed away July 2, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Royston was born in England on May 10, 1932, to the late Henry and Gertrude (Wellham) Ellis.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Barbara (Clifford) Ellis; daughters, Angela Beuchert), Elizabeth (Jerry) Bradley, Shannon (Tim) Feucht, Vickie (Chris) Pearce, Julie (David) Ferguson, Shari Newman; son, Byron Christian (Jen) Ellis; brother, Terry (Linda) Ellis; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1952-1954. After returning from the Army, Royston worked for the Columbus Dispatch for 44 years. Royston was a member of the 82nd Airborne Columbus Chapter and also a member of the 101st Airborne Reenactors living history.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, 11 AM – 12 Noon with the Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
