Ruby Blanche Overly, 87, passed away December 9, 2011. She was born February 19, 1924. Blanche is preceded in death by husband, Stephen O. Overly; parents, Walter S. and Ruby E. Akerley; son, Craig Overly and brother, Walter S. Akerley. Survivors include daughter, Paula B. Overly; grandson, Christopher Cremeans; and niece, Kelley (Owen) Akerley-Duffley and numerous nieces and cousins. Blanche was a faithful servant to Christ and devoted wife, mother and friend. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday, December 15 at Highland Baptist Church, 3460 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123 with funeral services at 11:00 AM following visitation at the church. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Central Ohio Diabetic Association or The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
