Ruby Bryant, 81, wife of jazz great Royal "Rusty" Bryant, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Pickerington Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born September 10, 1929, in Hinton, WV, daughter of the late Daniel and Pearl Gore. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Vincent Bryant; sisters, Lorraine, Louise, Esther, Pauline and Marie; brothers, Roy, Hobart, Elwood and Paul. She is survived by her daughters, Carol, Kimberly and Pamela Bryant; grandchildren, Sean "Vince", Royalle and Bryanna; great grandchildren, Dejah, Lyric, Royce and King Kaleb; good friend, Joanne Frye and host of other extended family and friends. Memorial service will be Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd.
