Ruby H. Vorhies, 84, passed away August 8, 2012. She was born June 3, 1928.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Golden V. Little and Roy J. Vorhies; parents, Delmon and Estelle; siblings, Elliott, Willard, Jackie and Delores and grandchildren, Golden, Tasha and Annie. She is survived by loving children, Illona Vanko, JoAnn Little, Neva Macioce (Greg), Reva Urban (Ed), Edward Little (Pam), Rose Wagner (Terry), David Little (Diana); sisters, Alice Rogers (Lloyd) and Mildred Marcum; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and caregiver granddaughter, Maria.
Ruby was a member of V.F.W. Post #3424 and American Legion Post #144.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Ruby will be laid to rest at Obetz Cemetery.
