Ruby Irene Hall, 91, of Westerville, and formerly of Owensboro, KY, gently passed into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, August 11, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Garnett and Mittie Briley in Owensboro on August 1, 1918, Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, William Calloway; 2nd Husband, Ernest Hall; sons, Billy, Ray, Bobby Calloway; daughters, Jessica Calloway and Beverly Cauley. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn (LeeRoy) Purcell and Betty Jane (J.D. Brown) Jewell; sons, Jesse (Donna) Calloway, Johnny and Charles Calloway; 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Friday, August 14, 2009, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Ruby's family would like to recognize HomeReach Hospice for their wonderful care, Passport Program and a special thanks to her friend, Evelyn Garcia.
