Ruby J. Reaper, 80, Blacklick, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Ruby was born in Newfoundland, on April 18, 1931, to Gideon and Gladys (Avery) Benson and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis "Les" Reaper; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include her son, Wayne (Cindy) Reaper; sisters, Mari Longo and Melvie Miller; brother, Alton Benson; grandsons, Daniel and David Reaper; special niece, Sandra (Bruce) Harry; nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2012, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 4, 2012, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Twp. Cemetery. The Reaper family would like to thank the staff at Pataskala Oaks Care Center and Odyssey Hospice for their kind and caring attention.
