Ruby Jean Solovey, 80, of Columbus, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009, at Riverside Hospital. Born to Clifford E. and Lola M. (Meadows) Hobbs, on October 20, 1928, Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Solovey and daughter, Gloria Jean Deime. Survivors include her sisters, Connie (Byron) Houchins and Lou Collins; brother, Bill (Margie) Hobbs; grandchildren, Leigh Ann (Chris) Timlin and their children, Trenton and Tyden and Brian (Shellie) Deime and their children, Cassady and Ryan. Ruby graced the Woolworth lunch counter for 30 years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, 6-8 PM at Vineyard Church, 6000 Cooper Road, Westerville, OH 43081 with the Funeral Service on Thursday, August 13, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Church.
