Ruby Sutherland, 81, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Ruby was born in Blackey, Virginia, on March 3, 1930, to William and Sarah (Stacy) Street and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Sutherland; sister, Marie DeVietro; son-in-law, John Porter Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Porter; granddaughter and friend, Malinda Flint; one grandson; 6 great-grandchildren, Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.
