Rupert Dean Conley

Rupert Dean Conley, age 78 of Columbus, passed away August 12, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on October 29, 1942 to the late Robert and Minty (Adams) Conley in Paintsville, KY. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, retired from The Ohio State University and was a Mason. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by children Carolyn, June and Fred, siblings Ishmore, Peggy, Bonnie, Frank, and Carson. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Barbara (Willard) Conley, children Russell (Vikki) Woyan, Marilyn (Eric) Woyan-Stowers, Dean Conley Jr, and Sherri Lynn (Ernie) Conley-Schwalbach, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, sister Gloria Spaulding.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Thursday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral service on Friday at the funeral home at 1:00 pm.

Burial to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
