Russ Casto Sr.

Russ Casto Sr., 70, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born October 27, 1938, in Hilliard, son of the late Clarence and Olive Osbourn Casto. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his sister, Olive "Sis" McLaughlin. Russ retired from the Air Force as a TSGT and served in Vietnam. Russ was also a member of Amvets, American Legion Post #144, Eagles, V.F.W. Post #3424, NAUS and Army-Navy Garrison 097. Russ is survived by his wife, Anna Darmobyt Casto; daughters, Francesca (Bill) Hall and Patricia (Brandt) Buening; son, Russ Casto Jr.; brothers, Ellis (Carol) Casto, Ronnie (Rita) Casto and Roger (Sue) Casto; grandchildren, Leah, Lana, Kyle, Jessica, Colton, Maya, Emma and Kennedy; great granddaughter, Olivia. Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, with the memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM.
