Russell "Fred" Gygi, 80 years old, Columbus resident, passed away on Friday, April 2nd, 2010. Fred was an avid Buckeye and sports fan, and playing euchre. He truly enjoyed his pet dog Bandit, his family and his friends at his apartment complex.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph F. and Mamie (Culp) Gygi, one sister, Betty Glass, and one brother, Bill Gygi.
He is survived by his three daughters: Pamela (Jess) Parker, Teri (Danny) Ryan, Debbie (Dickie) Winrod, and one son, Russell Gygi, Jr., seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and special friend Gail.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral service on Wednesday, April 7th, 2010, at 10:00 AM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City.
Interment immediately following service in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
