Russell L. Haley Jr.
February 17, 1942 — October 2, 2022
Russell L. Haley Jr., 80, passed away Oct. 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Russell L. (Helen) Haley Sr. and Dolly (Frank) Ferkol; brothers, Ronnie (Connie) and Bob Haley. Russ is survived by wife of 55 years, Rebecca Haley; children, Russell L. Haley III and Lisa (Kevin) McCarty; grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Chelsea, Mack, Anna, and Russell; great-grandson, Wade; brother, Tommy, Terry, and Tammy; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Russ serviced overseas for three years in the United States Army. He spent 18 years in the coal mines and retired from the Kroger company. Russ enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Per Russell's wishes, there will be no public services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Russell's memory to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio, 510 East North Broadway, Columbus, Ohio 43214 or Grove City Buddy Ball, Inc., PO Box 493, Grove City, OH 43123.
