Russell E. Miller, 86, of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away June 4, 2023.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 5, 1936 to the late Russell C. and Beulah Marie (Smith) Miller.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack; sisters, Ruth, Avonell; son, Randy; former wives, Sandra and Erma.
Surviving family includes, longtime friend, Brenda Swick; sons, Donald (Anita) Miller, Russell E. Miller, Michael (Shirley) Yeauger; daughters, Katherine (Danny Parker) Miller, Karen Berry, Pamela Kelley; sister, Charlene Wilson; sister-in-law, Thelma Miller; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Russell served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He loved hunting and he loved NASCAR.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery - Columbus, Columbus, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation in Russell's honor.
