Ruth A. McLean, 70, passed away November 5, 2011. She was born September 5, 1941 in Bangor, Maine. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bessie Donnelly; husband, George; children, Debra and James and siblings Marie Zimmerman and Mary Lemos. Survivors include her children, George McLean Jr., Laura McLean, John (Donna) McLean, and Tom (Kristie) McLean and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the President of the Evans Senior Center and active in many other community activities. Ruth was Captain of her Wii Bowling League, member of a Humdinger Band and the Red Hats. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with funeral services to start immediately following visitation at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave, Columbus, OH 43215.
