Ruth C. Morgan, 86, of Columbus passed away July 18, 2011. She was born September 2, 1924. Ruth was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Francis Friebis and 2 brothers, Bill and Ned Kerr. Survivors include her husband of 67 years Robert E. Morgan; children, Robert (Lynda) Morgan Jr., Lynn Ferguson, Bruce (Beth) Morgan and Tim Morgan; sister, Joan (Howard) Hatten; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sheppard's Voice Church, Edelweiss Damenchor-Columbus Swiss Club and the Harmony Glee Club. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial at Glen Rest Cemetery immediately following service. Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 6500 Busch BLVD. Suite 210, Columbus, OH 43229 or The Mark H. Zangmeister Center, 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd. Columbus, OH 43219.
