Mother was the matriarch of our family and while she worked for Ohio National Bank for a short time, her primary focus was on raising her family. She was thrilled to be a grandmother, great grandmother, and a great great grandmother. She had a special relationship with each child and her favorite times were spent holding and loving the little ones.
Mother experienced a conversion to Christ at 16 years of age and never wavered in her commitment to her faith. She prayed the Rosary and the Bible daily.
Having lived through the Great Depression, WWII, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam, 9/11, the COVID pandemic and the loss of a husband, two sons, and a granddaughter, not much in this life unsettled her. She was an energetic, quick-witted woman who enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching the Game Show Network, often calling out the answers before the contestants. She maintained her strength and independence, becoming ill just seven weeks before her passing.
