Ruth "Murphy" Cropper, 79, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Crown Pointe Care Center.
She was born February 23, 1933 in Columbus, daughter of the late Forrest and Dorothy Murphy.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, James Cropper.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Russell) Painter; son, Larry Cropper; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice c/o Mt. Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
