Ruth H. Anderson, 98, Columbus, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Ruth was born in Columbus, OH on February 15, 1913, to George and Clara M (Laver) Hoover and is preceded by her parents and her former husband, Robert G. Anderson. Survivors include her sons, Robert and David (Judy) Anderson; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter. Ruth was a 65 year member of the Order of Eastern Star. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, 5-7PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH where a White Shrine Service will be held at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Star White Shrine MO, c/o Mary Jo Daugherty, 8857 Woodcutters Lane, Pickerington, OH 43147.
