Ruth O. Hartman, 93, of Grove City, passed away March 7, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Hartman and her parents, Armor and Isabelle (Childers) Mercer. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Suzanne McGee, Mary Ellen (Robert) Sweetman; grandchildren, Thomas William (Raegan) Sweetman, Anne Marie (Mark) Plunkitt, Robert Ryan (Kelli) Sweetman, Marielle, Molly and Marla McGee; great-grandchildren, Dillion, Avrie, Zach, Bo, Emma; sister, Mary Myers and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth retired from Rockwell International at the age of 70 where she also worked on the space shuttle for Neil Armstrong. She loved spending her time in her garden and was an excellent seamstress. Ruth was a lady that always saw the funny side of things and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Friday, March 9, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
