Ruth C. Koser, 92, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 after a two month illness. Born in Lititz, PA, she was the daughter of the late Katie and Menno Carpenter. Ruth resided with her son, John W. Koser and his wife, Jerrie for the last five years. She retired after 26 years with RCA in Lancaster, PA. Ruth loved to crochet and was also an avid bowler on the Hillcrest Lanes Senior League, bowling twice a week up to the time of her illness. She is survived by her son, John W. (Jerrie) Koser of Columbus, OH; daughter, Phyllis (Robert) Miller of Fairlawn, OH; sister, Martha Stoner of Manheim, PA; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ruth's ashes will be taken back to Lititz, PA to be placed beside her parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
