Ruth H. Swank, 44, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, July, 17, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sally Varner. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Willis) Browning; son, Herbert Swank Jr., grandchildren, Isaiah, Hannah and Abigail Browning, Noah Swank; sister, Sarah (John) Nichols; brothers, Robert E. Varner, Scott Varner; father of her children and good friend, Herb Swank Sr.; niece, Monica Humphrey and nephew, Chuckie Humphrey. Ruth was a member of North Columbus Jaycees and was currently working for UPS as a dispatcher. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, July 24, 3007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the funeral home. Rev. Willis Browning will be officiating with interment at Obetz Cemetery.
