Ruth Lucille Sykes (Nee Day), Born October 5, 1919. She passed away Sunday,
April 14, 2002 at 2:15 PM .Beloved wife of Henry B. Sykes, and much loved
MOM of Donna, Bill,(Patty), David(Sharon), Hank(Sandy),and Pam(Jim).Grandmother to Michelle and Mark, Amy and Andy, Hank, Corey, Loving daughter of Roy and Ruth (Heeg) Day and brother Bill all deceased. Ruth was an artist, gardener, volunteer and devout catholic. Graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School active in track, soccer and swimming; attended Business College in Chicago. Devoted Navy wife during World War ll and supportive and loving wife and mom forever. Visitation Wednesday from 6-8 PM with prayer service 7:30 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 North High Street. Worthington .
