Ruth Elizabeth Vogel

Ruth Elizabeth Vogel (nee Locke) passed away on April 9, 2024, in Westerville, Ohio at the age of 65. Ruth was born on September 16, 1958, in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Ruth was the beloved wife of Dale Vogel Sr. for 44 years. She was a loving mother to Colleen (Erin) Morgenstern, Dale Jr. (Cara) Vogel, and Rachel (Mike) Vogel. Ruth adored her grandchildren Makayla, Amelia, Angelina, Gavin, Natalie, Anthony, Michael, and her great-granddaughter Hazel. She is also survived by her brother William (Ethel) Locke, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ruth's family was her greatest joy, and she cherished the long conversations with her grandchildren. She found immense happiness in spending time with them. Additionally, Ruth enjoyed playing her Angry Birds game and watching her favorite TV shows. She ended every call with XO XO Gossip girl.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother Joan Locke, father Clarence Locke, and her mother and father "in love" James and Clare Vogel. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Ruth will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2024 from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
