Ryan Mitchell Burnett

Ryan M. Burnett, age 41, of Mentor, formerly of Newark and Cleveland Heights, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland. He was born January 7, 1981 in Newark, OH.

Mr. Burnett was an IT Manager for Flash Global with previous positions at Mediquant, GE Lighting, Avery Dennison, and Progressive Insurance, among others. He graduated from the M.POD program at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School in 2014, and earned a B.S. in Communication Systems Management from Ohio University in 2003.

Ryan enjoyed spending time with his family, joking with friends, outdoor cooking, all things Jeep, and was an avid music fan. Every Sunday was Browns day, the draft was always something to look forward to, and even when his favorite Cleveland teams and the Buckeyes weren't playing, he was following them through podcasts and social media. Survivors include his wife of 16 years: Cassandra (Juliano) Burnett; children: Emery Miles and Aurelia June Burnett; parents: Mark and Karolyn Burnett; sister: Melinda (Greg) Sherin; mother in law: Jacquelyn Juliano; and brother in law: David Juliano. Ryan was uncle to Elena and Julianne Sherin and the favorite companion of furry friend: Abbie.

Please join us to celebrate Ryan's light and share love and favorite stories in remembrance. The family will receive friends from 2 - 3 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231.
