Ryan C. Johnston

Ryan C. Johnston, 37, of Columbus, Ohio passed away July 26th, 2022. He was taken too young. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 12th, 1985 to Murray and Becky (Macy) Johnston. Ryan is survived by his wife Janice (Mosser) Johnston; daughters, Lucy and Katie Johnston; his parents; and brother, Kyle Johnston. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Russ and Pat Macy; paternal grandparents, Harold and Lydia Johnston, and his father-in-law, Matthew Mosser.

Ryan loved to make people laugh, and could not avoid a good prank. His mission in life was to get a belly laugh from Katie and Lucy. He was the best girl dad you could ask for and always made time to take care of his family. Ryan led a very active lifestyle and enjoyed staying fit. He loved being outside, from hiking and biking to just taking his girls to the park.

Ryan learned to play guitar from his dad and he taught himself many new songs especially songs from movies his girls loved.

Ryan's favorite thing to do was spend time with his family on Sundays and catch up with his friends to show them "just one more video" on YouTube.

Ryan really found his calling with fixing up the house. He loved to "save big money at Menards". He was always able to teach himself how to fix what was broken, and many things that were not broken.

Ryan had a soft spot in is heart for all dogs, but especially his Penny girl.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Road, Westerville, Ohio 43082, with a Memorial Service immediately following.
