Sally Francis Ott (Black), age 89 of Orient, Ohio, loving mother of 8, and devoted wife to Clyde
Ott, passed away surrounded by her family on January 22, 2022. Sally was born on January 9,
1933 in Athens, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Ott, married for 72 years.
Preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Black, mother Ethel Black (Dewey), sisters, Helen
McGee, Elizabeth Householder, brother, Benjamin (Jack) Black, sister, Patricia Bircher and
daughter, Peggy (James) Layton.
She is also survived by her sisters, Roberta Lucas, Mary
(Tom) Johnston, her children, Jerry (Linda) Ott, Rae Leigh (David) Young, Patricia (Donald)
Beach, Joseph (Teresa) Ott, John Ott, Jay (Kendra) Ott, Janelle (Roy) Ohlinger, many
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sally had a love for gardening and sewing. She was a loving person. Her greatest love was her
husband and children.
