Beloved husband, father, son and brother, Samuel Queen, 65, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on January 30, 1957 in Marietta, Ohio to William and Thelma (Hostottle) Queen.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Sharon Queen; children, William (BJ) J. Queen, Dereck Queen, Corey Queen, Tommie Hill, Twyla Hill; grandchildren, William R. Queen, Reagan P. Queen, Bella Rose Queen; brothers, Allen Queen, Timothy Queen; sister, Nancy Ford and a host of family and friends.
Sam was a welder then truck driver for many years.
Sam loved God, family and being home. He loved to fish, being outside in nature and golfing. Sam was actively involved with his church and a trustee. He loved to serve others and was a good influence on all those he met.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm at Westerville Freewill Baptist Church, 390 E. College Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17 at 11am also at Westerville Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Etterling, officiating.
