Samuel Webster, 84, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away July 1, 2023.
He was born in Johns, Alabama on November 2, 1938 to the late Mary L. Webster and James Hightower.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Rhonda Johnson, LaRochelle Still; son, Samuel Webster, Jr. and Juan Taylor.
Surviving family includes his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce Webster; son, Wyteria Webster; daughters, Maria McCarns (San Antonia, TX), Monica Taylor (Grove City, OH) and Lolita Johnson (Kissimmee, FL); 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Sam was a proud Marine. He enjoyed all sports, participating bowling. He loved to talk and had many good stories to tell about growing up on a working farm or military adventures.
