Sandra K. Conn, 80, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Westerville, Ohio.
She was born on November 22, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Anthony "Tony" and Erma Decker.
Sandy is preceded in death by her sister, DeAnn Aldridge and former spouse, Norman Conn.
Sandy is survived by her daughters, Corrie (David) Lannom, Michelle Conn; grandchilden who lovingly referred to her as "Grammy" or "GG", Sean Humphrey, Alicia Lannom, Alex (Kayla) Lannom, Amee (Kenny) Boyd, Ben Lannom; great-grandchildren, Colton, Junior, Maximus; brother-in-law, Gary Aldridge; special nieces, Lori and Vetta; her childhood card club girlfriends and a host of other family and friends.
Sandy was a lifetime member of Greenmont-Oakpark Community Church in Kettering, Ohio. As a woman of faith, who was full of grace, she was our model of unconditional love and acceptance of all. Sandy enjoyed traveling, especially in her early married years through Europe, later in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and the throughout the continental United States. She displayed a strong moral and work ethic in all areas of her life. Sandy's happiest memories were made with family and friends during holidays or special occasions, playing games, dancing and laughing.
Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Sandy's Life on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a memorial service immediately following at 6:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio.
