Sandra Koeth

Sandra Lee Koeth, 69 of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones August 31, 2021.
Sandy was born July 20, 1952 in Cleveland Ohio to Richard and Phyllis (Johnson) Wantz.
Sandy always said what she wanted most out of life was to be a mother and raise a family; achieving this goal by leaps and bounds with sons Sean P. Koeth, Daniel E. Koeth (Michelle Smith), Devin M. Koeth (Kelly Ward), Ryan C. Koeth (Melissa Collier) and daughters Rebecca R. Koeth and Taylor M.J. Koeth. As time passed, she also delighted in watching her family grow with cherished grandchildren Dominick A. Koeth, Alexander J. Koeth, Nicholas D. Koeth and Kameron J. Koeth.
After 20 years of dedicated and loving service as a wife, mother and homemaker, Sandy re-entered the workforce enjoying several years at the Westerville Public Library before moving on to work 12 years for L3 Avionics Systems, Inc. In both settings she was a beloved member of the team, making many friends as she was always quick with a helping hand, laugh or listening ear.
Sandy will be deeply and forever missed by all of her children and grandchildren, sisters Karen Krusinski (Rick), Kathy Greer, brother John Wantz, best friend of many years Lisa Hall (Daryl), a host of nieces and nephews and former husband/caregiver/love of her life Bruce Koeth.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Phyllis Wantz and in-laws Gilbert and Lila Koeth.
Sandy will be remembered as a selfless, strong woman who always had a smile even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength, never complained and always looked to a better future.

A celebration of Sandy's life will be held Thursday September 9, 2021 from to 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. A private ceremony will be held in Cleveland for family at a later date.
