Sandra Kay Reinhart, affectionately known as Sandy, was born on November 21, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida. She began her career as an industrious worker at Rockwell International, where she contributed to the development of B1 bombers. Her professional journey took her to McDonald Douglas, Lockheed, and ultimately to Net Jets, where her dedication and expertise flourished. After a fulfilling career, Sandy enjoyed six wonderful years of retirement alongside her beloved husband, Raymond.
Sandy was a woman who embodied kindness, warmth, and a welcoming spirit. Her friends and family cherished her friendly demeanor and her delightful sense of humor. A talented craftswoman, Sandy had a knack for creativity that brought joy to those around her; she always found contentment in her pursuits.
Nature held a special place in Sandy’s heart. She loved spending time in her backyard, where she found joy in decorating and gardening. Her adventurous spirit shone through in her love for camping trips, particularly to Tennessee, and she found great pleasure in driving her beloved red Jeep. Sandy and Raymond shared many happy moments painting rocks together, which they placed in various locations to brighten up the day for others.
Sandy’s most treasured moments were those spent with her husband, Raymond, her best friend of thirty-one years. Their bond was a testament to the life they created together, filled with love, laughter, and shared interests. Her beloved pets, dogs Buddy and CeCe, were by her side, offering companionship and joy.
On January 10, 2025, Sandy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband. Her spirit will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Raymond J Reinhart; son, Jason Baumgartner; brother, Donald Ray (Claudia Aldrich) Baumgartner, sister, Peggy "Flora" Taggart; Jr., niece, Annee Baumgartner; nephew, Donald Baumgartner, III; niece, Christy Miller-Baumgartner; and beloved pets, Buddy and CeCe. Additional family members include her brother-in-law, William Reinhart Jr.; brother-in-law, Steven A Reinhart.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Baumgartner, Jr., and her mother, Nellie Evelyn Hamilton. While her physical presence will be dearly missed, the love and happiness she shared will continue to flourish in the hearts of all who knew her.
