Sanford Lovely, 86, passed away on June 10, 2024. He was born on December 9, 1937 inVancleve, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae (Spicer) Lovely, parents, Reuben & Lula Lovely, siblings, Ray Lovely, Eunice Lovely, Eula Taulbee, Janice Coleman.
Surviving family includes daughters, Phyllis Lelux, Tammy (Brian) Braun, grandchildren, Adrianna Weaver, Chris (Brooke) Braun, Brandon (Jenn) Weaver, Ryan (Erica) Braun, Randi (Jered) Braun, Samantha Braun, Angel Anderson, Erika (Andy) Guzman, Cali (Rich) Arata, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Sanford worked for many years at Stewart & Silver as a forklift operator until it closed. Then he employed at Value City until his retirement. Sanford enjoyed sitting around the house playing his guitar or his banjo. You could find him on his porch feeding the squirrels or playing with his dogs. He loved being around his family and trying to make them laugh. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge # 2252.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm, Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 where stories can be shared with the family.
