Sara Corns

Sara (Lightle) Corns, age 74, of Circleville, passed away on January 19, 2022. She was born on December 18, 1947, in Waverly, to the late John and Nellie (Martin) Lightle.
Sara graduated from Western High School in 1966 and went on to work at Doctors Hospital as a Nurse's Aide and Unit Secretary for 34 years. She married James Corns on January 15, 1971 and spent 51 years together. She enjoyed movies, spending time with her grandchildren, her dog, Molly and all animals in general and cooking for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her children, Carrie (Corns) Dave Paul, John Richard (Naomi) Corns, Aaron Daniel Corns; grandchildren, Brandon Schneider and Jacob Grooms; sister, Mary DeWitt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Corns; her parents; and her brothers, Johnny Lightle and Forrest Lightle.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 2-4 p.m., at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123, where a funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. Due to family illness, we are asking that masks are worn.
A private family burial will be held.
