ALLEN
Sarah Ann Allen, 82, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009. Sarah was born to the late Joseph and Bessie Alexander in Gay, Georgia on April 7, 1927. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dallas R. Allen, Jr and 5 sisters. Survivors include her son, MacArthur (Angie) Mitchell; sisters, Viola Hall, Gaynell Favors and Rebecca (William) Bolden; brother, Joseph (Margie) Alexander, Jr.; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; spiritual sister, Olivia Wilson and family; "The Diamond Girls"; special friends Margaret and roommate, Priscilla; many additional nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
