Sarah Ruth Fox

Sarah Ruth Fox, 92, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Sarah was born January 17, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles Augustus and Mildred Edith (Bagford) Barlow. She spent the first 50 years of her life in Columbus where she attended Central High School and met her first husband and father of her 4 children, Jim Towler. In 1983, she remarried to Randy Fox and they moved to Houston, TX, where she remained until moving back to Columbus in 2013. Sarah loved listening to music, singing, doing crafts and crossword puzzles, playing the piano, and being Grandma to her 7 grandchildren. She also loved to play Video Poker and was a frequent winner at the casinos. She will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Shauna Chrisman, Scott Towler, Karen Kohli, and Jim Towler along with her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

Sarah was preceded in death by her Husband of 30 years, Randall Lee Fox.

Visitation will be Monday, October 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow.
