Sarah (Sally) Louise Swiger, age 81, passed away peacefully at home in Ashville, OH surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was born December 2, 1931 in Carnegie, PA.
She retired from Ebco Mfg. She was a resident of Whitehall, OH from 1952 to 2011 and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Fred Miller, her beloved granddaughter, Tabitha Rae Swiger and her sister, Shirley Anson. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 63 years, Edmund (Ed), her loving children, Kas (Gary) McLaughlin, Debi (Don) Durbin, Eddie (Linda) Swiger, her cherished grandchildren, Heather (Tyler) Eskew, Zach and Travis Swiger, Devin and Danyell Durbin, her precious great granddaughter, Madalyn Renee Eskew, her sister, Arlene Shaffer, her brother, Carl Miller, many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and her buddy Max.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 730 Collingwood Ave., Whitehall, OH, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in her memory to Mt. Carmel Hospice and Palliative Care Services, 1144 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
