Scott Jeffery Wallace, 70, passed away on July 24, 2024, in Marengo, Ohio. Born on August 4, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, he was a man whose life was marked by a profound faith and a multifaceted career.
Scott's professional journey began in the tech world as a test engineer at IBM and included significant roles at Motorola on the Iridium Project, McDonnell-Douglas, and Bank One/Chase. His career took a heartfelt turn when he decided to start his own business, Buckeye Bunkbeds, to spend more time at home following the birth of his son. His custom furniture pieces, cherished in over 1,200 homes, are a testament to his craftsmanship and dedication.
He will also be missed by Rickki's parents (his other Mom & Dad), his siblings, nephews and the many, many friends that have become more than family.
Scott's hobbies included cooking, fishing and singing both with local groups and in various church worship groups, activities that reflected his love for nature and devotion to his faith. He embraced his faith in Jesus wholeheartedly when God "caught" him in 1971, a faith that remained a cornerstone throughout his life.
