He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Hazel and Jim. Surviving family includes, wife of 51 years, Melody Speakman, children; Scott E. Speakman, Jr., Larry Speakman, Christy Speakman, Timothy Speakman, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, siblings; Barbara, Terry, Teresa, Tony, Chris, Jodi, and Lori.
